Introduction
This website (the “Site”) offers information, products, and services related to real estate (the “Services”) that JBGoodwin REALTORS® provides. We operate this website and may use third-party contractors to support the delivery of the Services and the Site (“Service Providers”).
If you are a visitor to this Site, this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use applies to you and describes the policies and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in connection with your use of the Site. We act as the controller of your personal data, and our Service Providers assist us solely as service providers and data processors.
This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use does not apply to websites, applications, or other online services that do not link to this Policy. If you have questions about our use of your personal information, please contact us using the information below.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect information from you in various ways when you access or use the Site or otherwise interact with the Services. This may include contact information, feedback or correspondence, marketing preferences and consent details, and other information you voluntarily provide or that is necessary for your interactions with us.
We may obtain information from third parties, including social media platforms, data enrichment providers, property records, public records databases, demographic and behavioral data providers, publicly available social media profile information, analytics services, marketing partners, and other commercially available sources.
If you communicate with us by email, text message, or other electronic means, or if we use CRM tools to manage interactions with you, we may collect email message content, headers, metadata, attachments, text message content and metadata, communication timestamps, read receipts, delivery status, contact information, communication history, and notes relating to our interactions.
Automatic Data Collection
We and our Service Providers may automatically log information about you, your device, and your interactions over time with our Services, communications, and other online services. This can include device data, IP address, unique identifiers, browser information, general location information, pages viewed, browsing history, navigation paths, access times, duration of access, and marketing email engagement.
How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to provide, operate, and improve our Services and Site; communicate with you about our Services and business; send announcements, updates, security alerts, support messages, and administrative messages; and respond to requests, questions, and feedback.
We use CRM tools and services to maintain records of communications, track preferences and interests, provide personalized service, and better understand your needs. If you have opted into follow-up, marketing, or promotional communications, we or our Service Providers may contact you by phone, email, or SMS text messages, including messages using artificial or prerecorded voices where permitted by law.
We may also use personal information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests and legal process, protect rights, privacy, safety, and property, enforce terms, investigate and deter fraudulent or illegal activity, and create anonymous data for lawful business purposes.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
We use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and machine learning technologies to provide and improve our Services. AI may be used to generate, assist with, or enhance property descriptions, listing information, blog posts, articles, social media posts, marketing materials, email communications, newsletters, advertising copy, and promotional content.
While we review AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness, such content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions, including real estate transactions, without independent verification.
We may use AI to draft or suggest responses, analyze communication patterns, provide automated responses to common questions, prioritize incoming communications, identify potential opportunities, suggest properties, analyze market trends, and optimize communication timing and content. These recommendations are informational and are not professional advice.
You may request information about whether AI was used to generate specific content, request human review of significant decisions made with AI assistance, opt out of certain AI-powered features where technically feasible, and provide feedback on AI-generated content or recommendations.
How We Share Personal Information
We do not “sell” personal information as defined under applicable laws, but we may share personal information as described in this Policy. This may include sharing with internal team members, employees, contractors, partners, affiliates, Service Providers, professional advisors, and parties involved in compliance, fraud prevention, safety, or business transfers.
Service Providers may include companies and individuals that support hosting, information technology, CRM services, email delivery, AI and machine learning services, website analytics, and other business operations.
Other than as set forth in this Policy, data will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We will never disclose personal information such as phone numbers and SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.
Advertising and Tracking Technologies
We may use advertising and tracking technologies to deliver relevant advertising and measure marketing effectiveness. We may share certain information with advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, and other networks to deliver targeted ads, measure campaigns, create lookalike audiences, and track conversions.
Third-party advertising platforms may collect information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including device identifiers, browsing behavior, and interactions with advertisements. Tracking pixels may transmit information about pages visited, actions taken, and device information.
We participate in interest-based advertising, which may show advertisements on third-party websites and platforms based on browsing behavior and inferred interests.
Privacy Choices and Opt-Outs
You may block cookies through browser settings, limit advertising ID use through mobile settings, use privacy-focused browsers or plug-ins, and use platform opt-outs from Google, Facebook, Twitter, the Digital Advertising Alliance, and the Network Advertising Initiative. Because opt-outs are device- and browser-specific, you may need to opt out on every browser and device you use.
Some browsers may send “Do Not Track” signals. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals. To opt out of SMS communications, reply STOP to any SMS message. To unsubscribe from email updates, follow the unsubscribe link in the email.
Privacy Rights and Data Retention
Depending on your location and interactions with the Site and Services, you may have rights to request information about how we collect and use personal information, access a copy of personal information, correct inaccurate or outdated information, delete information we no longer need, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent where applicable.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, provide Services, maintain communication records, manage CRM data, retain transactional records, and honor marketing preferences. When information is no longer necessary, we will securely delete or anonymize it where appropriate.
Third Party Services, Security, and Children
The Site and Services may contain links to websites and online services operated by third parties. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their actions.
We use technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 18 without required consent, we will delete it.
SMS Text Messaging Terms of Use
We use SMS to confirm appointments, send reminders, and notify clients of schedule updates or important changes.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at Derrick@moonlightrealtygroup.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Notice of Collection and Additional Rights for California Residents
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA permits you to request information regarding disclosure of Personal Data to third parties, including for direct marketing purposes, no more than once per calendar year. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected identifiers, commercial information, internet or electronic network activity, geolocation data, professional or employment-related information, inferences, and sensitive personal information only if voluntarily provided.

We may “share” certain personal information, such as device identifiers and browsing activity, with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out by contacting us. We do not “sell” Personal Data as defined under the CCPA. We do not request sensitive personal information in connection with the Site except account credentials used only to provide and secure an account.
We do not currently respond to web browser “Do Not Track” signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as valid opt-out requests under the CCPA.
